<purpose>Identifies the approximate location of cold-water tributaries, seeps, alcoves, and other cold-water infows providing cold-water refuge (CWR) for migrating adult and juvenile salmon and steelhead.</purpose>
<supplinf>Cold-water refuge sites were identified using an identification framework of cold-water tributaries, channel features, or inflows with a temperature differenc efrom the main stem of at least 2°C. Features suitable for supporting adult salmon and steelhead migration have an average flow rate of at least 1 cfs. The data sources and methods for identification are detailed in the Lower Willamette Cold Water Refuge Interpretation Study, https://www.oregon.gov/deq/wq/Documents/lowwillCWRreportD.pdf. Sites locations were digitized by hand and referenced to NHD High-Reoslution hydrography NHDH-9.31v220 where applicable.</supplinf>
