Description: The NRCS Predominantly Hydric Soil Map Units is one of two selected subsets from the USDA NRCS gNATSGO dataset for Oregon represented in the Department of State Lands’ Statewide Wetlands Inventory (SWI). The layer represents soil map units comprised of greater than 50 percent hydric components and indicate areas where unmapped wetlands may be present for the purpose of planning, scoping projects, and coordination with DSL.
